Our Mission: To protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Arizona by regulating and maintaining standards of practice in the practice of massage therapy. The ("Board") was established in 2004 to create a statewide licensing board, like a "one-stop-shop", versus requiring a massage therapist to receive a license in each municipality he/she works. The Board promotes and encourages the highest standards of ethics and competence in massage therapy while ensuring that individuals meet the minimum standards of being a massage therapist. General Information To All Massage Therapists and Applicants: We are here to serve you and hope your experience is a good one. To that end, please take a few minutes to read your application and its instructions, in its entirety, prior to its completion. We endeavor to help everyone with simple to read instructions that should help you navigate the process of licensing or renewing. We understand the basic desire to call for help, but with over 10,000 licensees and thousands more of applicants, our time gets spread thin and most questions will be answered in the instructions of your specific application.
